Lakshmi Manchu jokes she wants to ‘whack’ Rakul Preet Singh: ‘Earlier I used to live with her, now she says let me ask Jackky’

Lakshmi fondly recalled the time when she and Rakul lived like inseparable best friends. “Whenever I visited Mumbai, before shifting here permanently, I always lived with Rakul. And every time she came to Hyderabad, her house was just a kilometre away from mine. After I moved into my own house in Mumbai, and with her now being married, naturally, some distance came in,” she said.

Lakshmi then joked that she now feels like whacking Rakul because she refuses to make plans without her husband. “No matter what you ask her, she replies, ‘Let me ask Jackky and let you know’ or ‘Jackky is working tomorrow.’ She keeps doing ‘Jackky-Jackky’. She is newly married, so I will keep quiet for another year. After that, I will whack her and tell her, ‘If Jackky can’t do it, you can still do it!’ What is this Jackky obsession?”

She further added, “You can’t cancel your whole plan with your old group because your spouse isn’t available. Jackky is an outsider in the group. If he can’t make it, you can always join us for a meal.”

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani tied the knot in 2024 after dating each other for a few years.
