Raveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot today in a traditional Konkani ceremony in Italy.

The rumours around Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh relationship started around the time they started shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. It was during the promotions of the Bhansali film that Ranveer was quite vocal about his relationship with Deepika. He never admitted it but the hints were enough for fans to know what was brewing between the two.

Ranveer Singh's Haldi ceremony took place in Mumbai before he left for Italy. 

Before heading to Italy, bride-to-be Deepika Padukone performed a traditional puja at her residence in Bengaluru. The photos of the ceremony were shared by her stylist and celebrity designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The intimate dinner was followed by a dance session. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone danced their heart out, with even Ranveer’s dad Jagjit Singh Bhavnani joining the couple.

After engagement rings were exchanged, Ranveer Singh gave an emotional speech and Deepika Padukone started crying.

During the engagement ceremony, Ranveer Singh went down on his knees asking for Deepika Padukone’s hand.
