A woman squad, formed by District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami, today interacted with several students who are present in Kota for competitive exam preparations, such as JEE Main, NEET UG etc.
As part of this exercise, Coordinator Nodal Officer Sunita Daga along with Additional Superintendent of Police Uma Sharma and Psychologist Dr Purti Sharma met with more than 500 girl students at Allen Career Institute’s Sakar Campus located on Jhalawar Road.
The Kota administration has formed five teams of women squad, comprising of three women each. These squads have been tasked with visiting and meeting girl students in coaching institutes regularly.
While the conversations will be confidential, the experts are interacting with students mainly about their health, family situation and studies, the administration said in an official statement. They motivated the girl students to realize their dreams by studying in Kota without stress. The women’s squad also talked to the students about the food and other facilities available in the hostel.
Meanwhile, Kota’s District Collector Dr Ravindra Goswami has launched a new initiative ‘Kamyab Kota’ under which the district collector will have a weekly dinner every Friday with the coaching students in the city at their hostel. The administration also gave mandatory training to every hostel staff in the city. The step has been taken to provide a positive atmosphere to the coaching students in the city and keep them in constant contact with the authorities. This exercise is also being led by Sunita Daga, the coordinating nodal officer on behalf of the district administration.
