The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has compiled a list of final vacancy positions for recruitment to the post of Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2016. Candidates can download the list from the official website of the Commission. Final vacancy details: Category I: Civil Engineering Number of vacancies: 258 Category II: Mechanical Engineering Number of vacancies: 192 Category III: Electrical Engineering Number of vacancies: 123 Category IV: Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Number of vacancies: 103 Total vacancies: 676 Out of total vacancies, posts reserved for PH categories are: 52 Candidates can check the category based reservation criteria on the official website of the commission. Steps to check the UPSC Engineering Services ESE notification 2016: Log on to the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in On the top of the page, a notification stating “Vacancies for Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2016” link will be displayed moving across the page. Click on the link Go to “Click here for final vacancy details” link The breakup of the vacancy (category wise) will be displayed on the screen in a PDF format.
