UPPSC State Engineer Service Exam Admit Card 2016: Check out the syllabus for the exam

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the admit card of the State Engineer Service Exam for filling up Assistant Engineer (AE) posts. The written exam is scheduled to be held from April 10 to 13, 2016.

Over four lakh candidates have applied for a total of 953 posts. After the final selection, the candidates will be recruited in various departments like irrigation, PWD and so on.

The Commission had earlier released a notification (Advertisement No. A-8/E-1/2013) in December 2013 for the recruitment in UP State Engineering service.

Steps to download UPPSC State Engineer Service Exam Admit Card 2016:
Visit the official website
Click on the link ‘UPPSC State Engineer Service Exam Admit Card 2016’
Submit your registration number, date of birth, gender and verification code in the provided fields.
The admit card will appear on the screen.
Download/Take a print out and carry to the examination.

Protests in Ladakh turned violent as students and youth organisations demanded statehood and Sixth Schedule status. Two elderly protesters fainted, prompting a shutdown call. A BJP office and security vehicle were set on fire. Activist Sonam Wangchuk urged for a peaceful approach. The demand for Sixth Schedule status is due to Ladakh's tribal-majority population and direct central administration.
