TSTET 2024: The Department of School Education, Telangana has started the registration process for Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2024) application process. Candidate should fill up the examination form before April 10 by visiting the official website — tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/.

The TSTET is scheduled to be conducted from May 20 to June 3, in two sessions — session 1: 9 am to 11.30 am and session 2 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm — across 11 districts of state in CBT mode.

“Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who intend to be teachers for classes 1 to 8 in schools in Telangana State for appearing for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2024),” the official notice read.

TSTET 2024: How to register

Step 1: Visit the official TS TET website —tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/.

Step 2: Select the ‘online application’ link.

Step 3: To register fill up registrations details and click on submit

Step 4: Now, login through the registered details and fill in personal details and educational qualifications

Step 5: Upload required documents and certificates.

Step 6: Make payment and submit the application.

Step 7. Save a copy for future reference.

Once released on May 15, candidates will be allowed to download their admit cards. The result will be declared  on June 12.

The exam determines qualification to teach grades 1 to grade 8 in government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, and both private aided and unaided schools across Telangana. Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of a teaching diploma program (DElEd, DEd, or BEd) or hold equivalent qualifications like language pandit certifications are eligible.

Candidates who previously appeared for the TSTET exam can retake it to improve their scores.

The registration fee for a single paper is Rs 1,000, while candidates opting for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 need to deposit Rs 2,000. Paper 1 of the exam is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, whereas Paper 2 assesses eligibility for teaching Classes 6 to 8.
