TS POLYCET 2024: The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) on April 25 extended the registration without late fee for Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2024 till April 28. Interested candidates can register themselves before the deadline at the official website. They can register until April 30 with a late fee of Rs 100. Applicants even have the option to register until May 20 with a tatkal fee of Rs 300. For registrations candidate should visit the official website - polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in. The registration fee for SC and ST candidates is Rs 250, whereas for other candidates it is Rs 500. As per earlier notice, the TS POLYCET 2024 exam was postponed to May 24, that was originally scheduled to be held on May 17; due to ensuing Lok Sabha election 2024. TS POLYCET: Eligibility – Candidates must have a domicile of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. – Candidate must have passed all subject with minimum 35 per cent marks in each subject; including biology, physics, and chemistry from a recognised board such as –National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), or other examinations recognised as equivalent to Secondary School Certificate (SSC) by Telangana state. – Candidates do not have age registration for the TS POLYCET. TS POLYCET : Exam pattern The exam will be held for two hours and 30 minutes duration consisting of only one paper as per the syllabus in the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology of Class 10 exam 2023-2024 as prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana. The examination takes place from 11 am till 1:30 pm. The exam will be conducted for 150 marks in mathematics (60 marks) + biology (30 marks) + physics (30 marks) + chemistry (30 marks) .
