Tripura NEET UG 2024: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tripura has started the registration for Tripura NEET UG 2024 today, August 19 at 10 am. The link for the counselling registration is available at the official DME website — dmeonline.tripura.gov.in.

According to the official notice published on August 16, all eligible NEET UG 2024 candidates with state domicile as well as those candidates from across India who do not have Tripura domicile are invited to take part in the round 1 of the Tripura State NEET UG 2024 Counseling.

The process for admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and BASLP courses has been commenced.

Tripura NEET UG 2024: What’s next after counselling

The registration for counseling will end on August 20 and the payment window will remain active till 3 am on August 21. The merit list is scheduled to be published on August 23 and the candidates will be able to fill their choices from the same day from 3 pm. They will be able to access the link till 12 pm on August 27. 

The seat allotment results for the registered candidates will be announced on August 29. From August 30 to August 31, students will have the chance to collect their nomination from the DME office. The physical verification of original documents along with other admission procedures will take place from August 30 to 5 pm of September 5 at the allotted institutions.

To be eligible, the applicant must be an Indian citizen and also a permanent resident of Tripura. Either the applicant or their parents must have resided in Tripura for at least 10 years immediately preceding the application for NEET UG. Also, the applicant should not have applied for domicile status (as per the NEET brochure) in any state other than Tripura.
