
Tamil Nadu 10th Result: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) declared the Class 10 or SSLC result today (May 10) at 9:30 am. The students will be able to check their scorecards at the official websites – dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.
Candidates will be required to key in their registration number/ roll number and password to check the TN SSLC scorecard.
This time, the TN SSLC overall pass percentage is 91.55 per cent, which is an increase from last year’s 91.39 per cent.
As per the official announcement, TNDGE will announce the Class 10 SSLC result on May 10. As soon as the result is declared, students will be able to access it from the official website – dge.tn.gov.in.
Last year, the result was declared on May 19 at 10 am, for the exams which were conducted between April 6 and April 22, and before that, the result was declared on June 20 at 12 pm, for the exams conducted between May 6 to May 30.
This year, the board conducted the TN SSLC exam between March 26 to April 8.
In 2023, the overall pass percentage stood at 91.39 per cent, an improvement from the previous year’s 90.07 per cent. A total of 23,971 students failed in TN Class 10 general examination last year.
Students will also have the option to apply for evaluation of results. After the announcement of the TN SSLC class 10 results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the TN Board compartment exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the TNDGE result declaration.
