
Tamil Nadu HSE (+1) Result 2023 Updates: The Directorate of Government Examinations Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) today declared the HSE+1 (Class 11) results at 2 pm. Students who appeared for the exams can check their results at the official website— tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.
The exams for HSE +1 were conducted from March 14 to April 5. The exams were conducted in a single shift from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm. Students got 10 minutes extra time before the commencement of exams to read the question paper.
Plus One exam were carried out at nearly 4,000 centres. Last year, the exam results were declared on June 27 and the overall pass percentage was recorded at 90.07 per cent. The girls outshone boys with a pass percentage of 94.99 per cent while boys secured 84.86 per cent. A total of 7,50,856 students cleared the exam in 2022.
TN HSE+1 candidates need to score a minimum 35 marks each in all six subjects out of 100 to pass. For those subjects having 70 marks in theory, candidates need to secure 15 marks in theory and a total of 35 marks while there is no minimum marks requirement in the practical or internal section
Private schools perform better than the govt schools in TN +1 result 2022. Government Schools recorded a pas percentage of 84.97% while Private Schools secured 93.20% result
TN Class 11 Female students passed 7.37% more than male students. This year, 94.36% girls have passed the +1 exam as compared to 85.99% boys passing the exams.
A total of 9 students scored 100 out of 100 in Tamil subject in 11th standard exam. Meanwhile, 13 get 100 marks in English and 17 in Mathematics.

The passing percnetage has improved by 0.85% in +1 results 2023. The board has recorded a passing percentage of 90.93% which is higher that last year's 90.07%

Enter the registration number/ roll number. The result will appear on the screen. Download it, and take a print out for further reference

Students can download their TN Class 11 provisional marksheets from the official websites -- tnresults.nic.in. This can be used to seek admission to next class. The original marksheets can be collected from the schools in due course of time.

Since 2018, the Tamil Nadu board has stopped 'advertising' or declaring the names of the top ranking students. Instead, it announced the city or district which registers the highest pass percentage. According to the DGE, the move is aimed to reduce the 'unhealthy' competition.

The Tamil Nadu Board has adopted a no-detention policy in 2018 for Class 11 which enables a student who are unable to clear the exams to take the same later in Class 12.

Students who fail to qualify the TN class 11 exams will now have to appear for the supplementary exams dates of which will be announced by the board soon.

A total of 7,50,856 students passed the exam out of which 3,46,243 were boys, 411612 were girls and one transgender student passed the plus one exam. The overall pass percentage of girls stood at 94.99 per cent and 84.86 per cent boys managed to pass the exams.
