Newcastle University is inviting applications for VC Excellence Scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students should remember that they must already have applied for an undergraduate course starting in the 2025-26 academic year (September 2025 - June 2026) and received an offer of a place of study before applying for this scholarship. Application will not be considered without an offer of study. Undergraduate Scholarship The UG scholarship will offer a 30 to 50 per cent reduction in tuition fees. The deadline for this scholarship is February 27, 2025. Eligibility criteria - Be assessed as international for fee purposes - Hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year - Already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent Postgraduate scholarship The PG scholarship offers a 50—to 100 per cent reduction in tuition fees. The deadline for this scholarship is February 27, 2025. Eligibility criteria - Be assessed as international for fee purposes - Hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year - Already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second-class UK honours degree or above Candidates must submit their applications under the‘ scholarship applications’ section at the official website - applyto.newcastle.ac.uk. Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.
