Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi, is delighted to announce the 13th edition of its flagship undergraduate economics festival — Shri Ram Economics Summit 2024 — from March 19 to March 21. The Economics Society of SRCC, in partnership with ACCA, presents a three-day extravaganza, featuring a host of engaging and enlightening events on the campus, including lectures, fireside chats, live interviews and panel discussions by distinguished experts and leaders from various fields of economics, business, policy and academia. The summit strives to be the epicentre of intellectual discourse and collaborative exploration in economics, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and innovations among students, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. In addition to on-campus events, the Shri Ram Economics Summit is set to feature five captivating competitions spanning diverse realms such as data analysis, economics, business simulation, policymaking and consulting. Notable speakers for this year include luminaries such as Mr Ashwini Vaishnaw (Hon'ble Minister of Railways, Communications and Information Technology), Mr Subhash Garg (Former Economic Affairs Secretary and Finance Secretary of India), and Dr Pronab Sen (First Chief Statistician of India, Former Principal Adviser - Government of India's Planning Commission). They will be joined by Dr Gautam Chikerman (Vice President at ORF), Mr Harish Mehta (Founding member and the first elected Chairman of NASSCOM), and Ms Meenakshi Nevatia (CEO and Managing Director at Pfizer India).
