The PSEB Class 5 result pass percentages have been improving over the years. While it was 99.62 and 99.69 per cent in 2022 and 2023 respectively, it is 99.84 per cent this year.

As many as 3,06,438 students appeared for the PSEB Class 5 math paper. According to data shared by the board, 3,06,224 students have passed the math paper.

Of the 3,06,438 students who appeared the English paper, as many as 3,06,226 cleared the exam.

All the 471 students who appeared for the Urdu paper in PSEB Class 5 qualified the exam.

The Punjab board Class 5 scorecard links for individual candidates will be released on April 2 at 10 am.

Candidates who could not pass the Class 5 examination PSEB board will have to take the supplementary examination. The PSEB Class 5 supplementary exam dates 2024 will be announced through schools or local newspapers, the board said while declaring the Class 5 results.

PSEB this year announced the Class 5 result 2025 in record 15 days. The last exam on the PSEB board Class 5 was held on March 15.

The PSEB board Class 5 exams were conducted between March 7 and 15 over five days. The exams were held in the morning shift between 10 am and 1:15 pm.

The board will later send the PSEB 2024 Class 5 marksheets to the respective schools and the students can collect their hard copies of the result scorecards from their schools.

While last year, two students scored 100 per cent marks, the number has increased to 587 this year.

According to the admission schedule issued by the Punjab Board, schools should admit only those students in the class 5 who have obtained the class 4 passing ceertificate from the government / affiliated / aided / associated school belonging to the Punjab School Education Board.

This year, government schools noticed a pass perentage of 99.84 per cent. In 2023, too, two toppers among the top 3 were from government schools.

A total of 1,44,653 girl students appeared in the PSEB class 5th exams. Of these, 1,44,454 successfully passed with a pass percentage of 99.86 per cent. Similarly, a total of 1,61,767 boys appeared in the exam and 1,61,468 successfully passed the exam, making the pass percentage 99.81 per cent.

Punjab School Education Board Chairperson Dr. Satbir Bedi is going to announce the result of class 5 on April 1 through a physical meeting at 3 pm.

The unjab Board recently announced the deadline for registering for the academic year 2024-25. The deadline has been announced by the Punjab Board for classes 5, 8 and 12. Students have time till July 31 to apply for the new academic year.

“Government/Aided/Affiliated and Associated School Principals and all the students of Punjab State related to the Punjab School Education Board are hereby informed that for the regular students taking admission in the schools for the fifth, eighth to twelfth classes for the academic year 2024-25. The last date of admission is 31st July 2024,” the official notification stated.
