This year, as many as 3,93,618 students appeared for the CHSE Class 12 Odisha board examinations. Of them, a total of 2,47,391 are from the arts stream, 1,14,980 students are from the science stream, and as many as 25,526 are from the commerce stream, and 5,721 are from vocational education.

Last year, the pass percentage in the CHSE Class 12 science stream was 86.93 per cent, in the commerce stream, it was 82.27 per cent and in the arts stream, the overall pass percentage was 80.95 per cent.
The total number of institutions with the Commerce stream was 410. A total of 25,508 candidates were enrolled — 25,189 in regular category and 319 in correspondence. Out of these, 25,252 candidates appeared for the exam, with 24,938 being regular students and 314 from correspondence.
Out of those who appeared, 20,706 regular candidates and 228 correspondence candidates passed the exam, bringing the overall pass percentage to 82.87%. For regular candidates, the pass percentage stood at 83.01%, while for correspondence students, it is 72.61%.
A total of 13,715 boys appeared for the exam and 11,173 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 81.48%. Among the 11,537 girls who appeared, 9,761 passed, with a higher pass percentage of 84.60%.
The number of students securing First Division was 9,216, while 6,259 students passed in the Second Division and 5,459 in the Third Division. A total of 823 candidates passed in the compartmental category.
Additionally, 924 students scored 90% and above.
Nayagarh district recorded the highest pass percentage, while Bolangir district had the lowest, with a pass rate of 60.19%.
No students have been withheld in CHSE Class 12 arts results.

The state government, this year, will provide 11.25 per cent reservation to SEBC students in undergraduate courses. The last date for online admission to undergraduate courses in state-run colleges is June 1.

In 2022, the overall pass percentage for the science stream was recorded at 96.12 per cent, 89.20 cent for the commerce stream, and 82.10 per cent for the arts stream.
Students who are unsatisfied with the marks, and wish to apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets will be given an opportunity to do so. Detailed guidelines regarding the application process, fee, and deadlines will be announced on the CHSE Odisha official website shortly after the result declaration.

A total of 406 institutes had commerce stream this year. From these, a total of 26,089 students registered, 25,897 students appeared and 21,308 students passed the exams.
Last time, 16,466 boys and 9,431 girls appeared for the CHSE Class 12 exam in commerce. Out of these, 13,239 boys and 8,069 girls passed the exams. 132 students have been placed in the compartment category. A total of 92 schools recorded 100 per cent result.
