NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on August 16 opened the choice-filling window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling round-1. The mcc.nic.in is the official website to fill the choices. Applicants who had registered for NEET UG 2024 first phase of counselling 15 per cent all India quota (AIQ) seats will be able to enter choices by August 20 (11:55 pm), confirm the colleges and lock it between 4 pm and 11:55 pm of August 20. Applicants will be able to fill as many choices as they wish. However, MCC said, choices should be in the order of preference, as allotment to medical college will be done on the basis of choices submitted by the qualified candidates. The MCC has advised the medical aspirants to download the 'Sandes' app to receive updates regarding NEET UG counselling. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute between August 24 and 29. MCC NEET UG counseling for the AIQ seats will be held in four rounds this year - AIQ round 1, round 2, round 3 and an online stray vacancy round. For round 2 of the NEET UG counselling, the registration process will start on September 5 and continue till September 10 (12 noon).
