Mumbai University extends last date to register for UG programmes

Students will be required to apply for the online pre-registration at the university website. However, for admission to the programmes of their choice, they will have to apply and register to respective colleges.

The University of Mumbai has extended the last date to register for admission to various undergraduate (UG) degree courses in affiliated and autonomous colleges in the state. Earlier set to close on May 23, now the Mumbai University application window for admission to UG programmes will close on May 26. Candidates can register and apply online at mu.ac.in/admission. 

There are over three lakh seats up for offer in Mumbai University’s affiliated and autonomous colleges for various UG courses including in UG academic programmes – three years UG programmes, four years hons/hons with research, five years integrated UG, PG programmes.

While announcing the revised dates, the university said that all Admissions to the first year of degree programmes and their academic activities will be as per the provisions and guidelines of NEP 2020 issued by the University of Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra and UGC from time to time.

Admission Schedule of Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) under AICTE will be announced after the result of the entrance examination conducted by CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, the university added.
