MP Board 5th, 8th Class result declared for over 24 lakh students

After the announcement of the class 8 results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the MP Board compartment exams.

RSKMP MP Board Class 8th Result Date and Time: The Rajya Shiksha Kendra Madhya Pradesh (RSKMP), Indore today (April 23) declared the Class 5 and 8 results.

The MPBSE students can check their scorecards at the official website – rskmp.in. However, the hard copies of the marksheets can be collected from the respective schools later.

This time, nearly 24 lakh MP Board students registered for the board exams, including more than 12 lakh children of class 5 and more than 11 lakh children of class 8.

In MP Board Class 5, girls scored 48.3% while boys outperformed them with 51.7%. As per reports, in class 8 too, girls got 48.4% and boys scored 51.6%.

Candidates will be required to key in their registration number/ roll number and password to check the scorecard. 

MPBSE Class 8th Result 2024: Date and Time

As per the official announcement, RSKMP will announce the Class 5 and 8 result on April 23 at 11:30 am. As soon as the result is declared, students will be able to access it from the official website – rskmp.in.

This year, the board conducted the class 8 exams between March 6 and March 14, which were held in the morning shift from 9:00 am to 11:30 am for 2 hours 30 minutes, in pen-paper mode.

Last year, the MP Board result was declared on May 15, for the exams which were conducted between March 23 to April 1, and before that, the result was declared on May 13, for the exams conducted between April 1 to April 9.

The MP board exam for Class 8 was conducted at various examination centers in the state. Students need to score at least 33 per cent marks in their MP Board class 8 exams 2024 to qualify.

In 2023, a total of 10,66,405 students appeared for Class 8 exams out of which 8,11,433 qualified the exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 76.09 per cent. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 78.86 per cent compared to 73.46 per cent.

Students will also have the option to request photocopies of their answer booklets and OMR sheets. After the announcement of the class 8 results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the MP Board compartment exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the result declaration.
