MP Board Class 5th and 8th Results 2024: The Rajya Shiksha Kendra Madhya Pradesh (RSKMP), Indore announced the class 5 and 8 results today. Once released, the MP board result will be available on the official websites — rskmp.in. Students can also check their class 5 and 8 results by scanning a QR code that has been provided by the MP Board.
In MP Board Class 5, girls scored 48.3% while boys outperformed them with 51.7%. As per reports, in class 8 too, girls got 48.4% and boys scored 51.6%.
The MP Board conducted the MPBSE class 5 exams from March 6 and March 14, which were held in the morning shift from 9 am to 11:30 am for 2 hours 30 minutes, in a pen-paper mode.
While the overall MPBSE result will be announced in a press conference at 11:30 am, the scorecards will be released an hour later, i.e. at 12:30 pm. Once released, students can check the MP board results at the official website — rskmp.in
To check the scorecard, the MP Board students need to click on the “Examination Results” section available on the home page, and then select the result link for class 8. After that, enter your roll number and roll code in the designated fields. Once you click on ‘submit’, the scorecard will be visible on the screen. It is advised to download and save the scorecard for future reference.
In 2023, a total of 10,66,405 students appeared for Class 8 exams out of which 8,11,433 qualified the exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 76.09 per cent. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 78.86 per cent compared to 73.46 per cent.
To pass the MPBSE class 5 and 8 exams, students are required to achieve a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject, as well as an aggregate score of 33 percent. Following the guidelines of the RTE Act, no student faces failure in elementary classes. Moreover, all students are provided with an additional opportunity to sit for supplementary exams, ensuring every student has a chance to progress academically.
Students will also have the option to request photocopies of their answer booklets and OMR sheets. After the announcement of the class 8 results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the MP Board compartment exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the result declaration.
In 2023, the MP Board Results were declared by School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar via press conference at Maharishi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan Auditorium at Tulsi Nagar, Bhopal. However, this time, the minister will not participate in the press conference because of the moral code of conduct.
