Maharashtra HSC Result 2024 Updates: MSBSHSE 12th result, meet the topper

The students will have to collect hard copies of the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 result 2024 marksheets along with the pass certificates from the respective schools. 

Yes. In the ITI, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 87.69 per cent. Of the 4,821 students registering for the exam, as many as 4,764 students appeared and 4,178 students passed the exam.

In the vocational stream, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 87.75 per cent. Of the 35,849 students registering for the exam, as many as 35,106 students appeared and 30,808 students passed the exam.

From the Mumbai division alone, as many as 3,21,116 candidates had registered for the Maharashtra HSC exam and of them, 3,19,910 actually appeared and 2,94,158 passed the exam. The overall pass percentage for the Mumbai division is 91.95 per cent. This year, Konkan has performed the best with with 97.51 per cent students passing.

"Even as Mumbai division ranks lowest among all nine divisions, it is important to note that the division has shown a considerable improvement in the pass percentage compared to that of last year. From 88.13 per cent in 2023, the pass percentage for Mumbai division has increased to 91.95 per cent," said an official from the Mumbai division.

The science stream has performed the best stream-wise. 97.82 per cent students have passed from the science stream this year. In the arts, commerce, vocational and ITI, the pass percentages are 85.88 per cent, 92.18 per cent, 87.75 per cent and 87.69 per cent respectively.

96.09 per cent students passed the science stream last year, while in commerce and arts, the pass percentage was 90.42 per cent and 84.05 per cent respectively.

As the Maharashtra board has released the Class 12 result and made the links to download the results active at mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, mahahsscboard.in and results.digilocker.gov.in online, students can now apply for UG admissions. Moreover, the hardcopies of the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 result marksheets along with the pass certificates will have to be collected from the respective schools.

Maharashtra HSC Result 2024 Live: The pass percentage among the physically challenged students is 94 per cent.

Among the nine division, the Mumbai division has performed the worst. Of the total students appearing from Mumbai division, 91.95 per cent students have passed the Maharashtra board HSC 12th exam this year.

According to data shared by the board, students in 26 subjects have performed exceptionally well. 100 per cent result is seen in the 26 subjects in the Maharashtra 12th result declared today. There are a total of 154 subjects in Class 12 Maharashtra board exams.

In the Maharashtra Class 12 HSC results 2024, girls have performed better than boys. The passing percentage among the girls is 95.44 per cent, while among the boys, it is 91.60 per cent.

Konkan division has topped among the nine divisions of Maharashtra State Board in the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 results announced today. 97.51 per cent students have passed from the Konkan division alone.

This year, 93.37 per cent students have passed the Maharashtra HSC exams. It is a 2.12 per cent points improvement from last year.

The pass percentage this year in Maharashtra HSC 2024 is 93.37 per cent. Last year, the overall pass percentage in the Maharashtra board HSC exam was 91.25 per cent and in 2022, it was 94.22 per cent.

The press conference to announce the Maharashtra HSC 2024 result will begin at 11 am. However, the link to access and download the scorecards will be made live from 1 pm. The mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, mahahsscboard.in and results.digilocker.gov.in websites will make the Maha Class 12 HSC result link active.

Last year, as many as 33,306 students were allowed to keep term (ATKT) in Class 10. Allowed To Keep Term or ATKT is for those students who have failed in two subjects and are allowed to take provisional admission in Class 11. These students will have to clear the papers before taking admission to Class 12.

In addition to the mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org and mahahsscboard.in websites, the Maharashtra HSC 2024 Class 12 results will also be made available at results.digilocker.gov.in.

A total of 5,83,271 students were placed in the 45 per cent to 60 per cent bracket in Maharashtra 12th result last year.

As many as 7,696 students scored above 90 per cent in Maharashtra HSC 12th result last year.

35% to 44%: Pass Grade
Below 35%: Failed

Last year as many as 93.73 per cent girls passed the HSC exam, compared to 89.14 per cent boys. In the Science stream, pass percentage of 96.09 per cent was recorded which was highest among all streams, followed by Arts with 84.05 percent and Commerce, at 90.42 percent. Out of the 12,92,468 students who cleared the exam, 6,84,118 are boys and 6,08,350 were girls in 2023.

The 2023 pass percentage was a decline from 2022, which the officials claimed consistent. “Many factors may have played a role in this, most saliently the impact of the lockdown on the learning abilities of the students, the effective copy-free campaign that we conducted in the state, the lenient conditions that were temporarily brought during the board exams in pandemic years. The results vary from batch to batch and the difficulty level of the question papers also affects the passing percentage,” said Sharad Gosavi, Chairman MSBSHSE while announcing the result last year.
