The First-Year Junior College (FYJC) online applications in Maharashtra will resume on May 26. The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has revised the FYJC 2025 admission dates following technical snags on the first day of the application. Candidates can now apply for Maharashtra FYJC or Class 11 admission from May 26 to June 3. The official website to register for FYJC 2025 admission is mahafyjcadmissions.in.
The student registration process for FYJC admissions in Maharashtra was stalled on Wednesday as the education department’s website suffered a technical snag, leading to it being closed. The FYJC registration process started on May 21.

This is the first year that the online Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for FYJC admissions is being held across the state. Students from any region will now be able to apply to junior colleges across Maharashtra through a single unified platform.
Inhouse quota in junior colleges will only be available to students of schools run by the same management that are located on the “same premises”, states new guidelines for class 11 or First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions by the State Directorate of Education.
The information booklet published by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education regarding the class 11 centralised online admission process says, “Students who have passed std. 10th from secondary school (within same premises) of the same management who run Junior Colleges are eligible for Inhouse quota admission in those Jr. Colleges.”
