Maharashtra SSC 10th Results 2024 Updates: Grade improvement application from May 31 onwards

Twin brothers Sarthak and Swapnil Saudagar Chavan are among those who have scored 100 per cent marks.
Students of Gyan Prakash Balvikas Kendra in Latur city, Sarthak got 9 extra marks for participation and victory in chess competitions, while Swapneel was given 10 additional marks for winning music events. The extra marks pushed up their score to 100 per cent. The twins said they are keen to join the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and have started preparing for it. Their father is a former headmaster and mother is a teacher at a Zilla Parishad school.

Eight students from the Mumbai division achieved 100 per cent, surpassing last year’s count of six.

To check and access the Maharashtra Class 10 result 2024 from mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org or sscresult.mahahsscboard.in, students will have to use their mother's name and valid roll numbers. 

The re-evaluation application of Maharashtra Class 10 SSC 2024 result will open tomorrow, May 28. The board will keep the Maha result revaluation window open till June 11. The students intending to re-evaluate their answer sheets can register online through the board website or do it offline through their schools.

Out of the total 9,149 students registering under special students category, as many as 9,078 appeared and 8,465 of them passed. The overall pass percentage among the special students has been recorded at 93.25 per cent.

Those who pass in all subjects but wish to take a grade-improvement exam can do so in July-August 2024 or March 2025. Students intending to take the re-examination or apply for the grade-improvement examination can fill the application forms online from May 31 onwards. A separate circular regarding the Maha SSC re-examinations and grade improvement exam will be announced by the MSBSHSE board soon.

With the declaration of Maharashtra SSC Class 10 result 2024, students who have passed can now take admission in their choice of streams -- arts, science or commerce.

The Maharashtra board has made the Maha SSC result link live at all the official websites including mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org and sscresult.mahahsscboard.in.

To access and download the MSBSHSE Maharashtra 10th result 2024 from sscresult.mkcl.org, students will have to key in their seat numbers and mother's name as mentioned on the Maharashtra Class 10 hall ticket. Students have been asked to put 'XXX' if mother's name is not mentioned in the form.

In order to clear the Maharashtra SSC 2024 exams, students should obtain at least 35 per cent marks in each subject and in aggregate.

After that, students have to key in their roll number, and mother’s first name and press submit. Once the scorecard is visible on the screen, they can download it for future reference.

Gender-wise, the girl students have outperformed the boys. The pass percentage of girl students is 2.56 per cent more than that of boy students.

Nagpur division has performed the lowest with 94.73 per cent students passing the Maha SSC 10th exam.

The Maharashtra Class 10 SSC exam was conducted in eight mediums.

Out of the total 72 subjects in Maharashtra SSC 2024 exam, 100 per cent result is seen in 18 subjects.

Out of the total 23,288 schools participating in the Maharashtra board Class 10 exams, as many as 9,382 schools recorded 100 per cent result.

Division-wise, Konkan division has topped again with 99.01 per cent students passing from Konkan alone.

As many as 5,58,021 students have obtained distinction marks in the Maharashtra Class 10 SSC result declared today. To obtain distinction, a student must score more than 75 per cent marks.
