JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria, Registration Dates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already released the calendar announcing the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2023 dates. According to the NTA 2024 calendar, the JEE Main 2024 will be conducted twice this year – first in January and the next in April.

The application window for the exam will likely open in December. Once the JEE Main 2023 window opens, students will be able to register themselves at the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main comprises two papers – paper 1 and paper 2. While JEE Main paper 1 is conducted for admission to BE and BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions or universities, paper 2 is held for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.

Who will conduct JEE Main in 2024?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts JEE Main in 2024. However, the JEE Advanced 2024 will be held by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.
What is the date of JEE Main 2024?
The JEE Main exam 2023 will be conducted in January and April. The first session of JEE Main 2024 will be conducted from January 24 to February 1, while the second JEE Main 2024 session is set to be held between April 1 and 15.
Has NTA removed 75 per cent criteria for 2024?
As of now, there is no official information on the removal of the 75 per cent eligibility criteria. The NTA will announce this while releasing the JEE Main 2024 information brochure.

The Cities of Brasilia, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, Oslo were added for the first time last year.
Which book should I refer to prepare for JEE Main exam?
One should refer to standard books so that the JEE Main 2024 syllabus gets covered. Candidates taking JEE Main in 2024 can also go through the previous years' question papers and appear for mock tests to acquaint themselves with the JEE Main exam pattern.
