IIM Lucknow launches MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow today launched a full-time 16-month-long MBA programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The programme will commence in August.The last date to apply is June 30.

In order to apply, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline as per the requirements of eligibility for the Common Admission Test (CAT). Candidates who have a valid CAT 2022 score or valid GMAT score can apply for the programme. The candidate should have taken GMAT after January 1, 2021. The fees for the programme is Rs 14.30 lakh.

This is the first of its kind programme offered by any IIM, as per the institute.

The curriculum for MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme is based on philosophy and pedagogy on entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, industry inputs, immersion and mentorship. The programme will cover all areas of management and allied fields. Students will receive guidance in business plan preparation, working with venture capitalists to refine it, obtain funding, and prepare for launch. Students will get to visit partner institutions abroad and work with IIM Lucknow’s two incubators or partner incubators.

IIM Lucknow currently has two incubators on campus— IIML Enterprise Incubation Centre (a section 8 company) and SIDBI incubator. Students of the programme will get the support of incubated companies.
