Indian Institute of Management (IIM) – Ahmedabad has bagged 32 position followed by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) at 71 slot in the global rankings for international trade education with its Master’s in Global Management (MGM) programme. The Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University tops, while The National University of Singapore (NUS) follows at the second position and Durham University at third place for its MSc in International Business.
QS Quacquarelli Symonds, today released the 2026 edition of the International Trade Rankings, in partnership with the Hinrich Foundation. This edition assessed 106 programmes across 31 countries. Additionally, 30 Executive MBAs are ranked across 14 countries.
University of Cambridge (University of Cambridge) has secured number 1 position in the Executive MBA category, while IIM Calcutta has entered the top 10 category securing number 8 rank.
In the Master’s and MBA programmes category, list of which was released in February this year, three Indian institutes have secured a position.
France’s INSEAD secured the fourth spot with its MBA, while Cranfield University in the UK ranks fifth for its full-time MBA. Switzerland’s IMD claims sixth place with its IMD MBA, and the University of Sydney in Australia ranks seventh for its Master of International Business.

Sharing the eighth position are Universitat Ramon Llull in Spain for its MSc in International Management and the University of Cambridge in the UK for the Cambridge MBA.

The rankings highlight that the United States boasts 12 business schools in the global rankings, with three securing spots among the world’s top 20. Making their debut this year, Tufts University and Florida International University enter the rankings with Tufts’ Master of International Business at 12th and FIU’s International MBA at 21st.
Four institutions in the QS rankings represent Canada. The University of Toronto stands out for its industry engagement, with its full-time MBA earning the 13th spot globally. Université de Montréal also joins the list for the first time, with its MSc International programme debuting at joint 38th.
On the other hand, there are three new entries in the global top 10 from the UK. Durham University leads the national cohort, ranking third worldwide. Cranfield University follows as the UK’s second-highest performer, placing fifth with its full-time MBA.

The University of Auckland Business School places 41st for its Master of International Business, while Victoria University of Wellington enters at 99th with its Master of International Trade.
QS ranks 38 business schools across Continental Europe and Ireland, with France leading in representation. Seven programmes debut this year, and 18 rank in the global top 50. INSEAD’s MBA in France is the region’s highest-ranked, debuting at 4th globally. Switzerland’s IMD MBA follows at 6th, while Spain’s Universitat Ramon Llull enters at joint 8th. Rome Business School’s MBA, ranked 26th, stands out globally for graduate outcomes.
