The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on March 1 extended the application deadline for January 2024 admission cycle for open and distance learning (ODL) programmes. The IGNOU application link earlier set to close on February 29 will now remain active till March 10. A social media post by the Open University said: “The last date for Fresh Admission for all the programmes offered in ODL/ online mode for the January 2024 session has been extended till 10th March, 2024.” IGNOU January 2024 Session: How to apply Aspiring candidates can fill the fresh registration form by following these steps: Step 1: Check the official website – ignou.ac.in Step 2: Click on ‘Register Online’ followed by ‘Fresh Admissions’ Step 3: Go to the ‘New Registrations’ tab Step 4: Fill in all the required registration details Step 5: Set a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ Step 6: Fill all the required information and submit Step 7: With the login details received on the email ID and phone number, login using the same and fill in all the details required Step 8: Select the preferred programme Step 9: Finally Submit the IGNOU registration form Eligible students can also apply for government scholarships on the national scholarship portal at scholarships.gov.in after the confirmation of IGNOU admission.
