GUJCET 2025: Exam today; checklist, marking scheme

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on March 23 will conduct the GUJCET 2025 exam. The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 will be held for three papers – paper 1 (physics and chemistry) will be held from 10 am to 12 noon, paper 2 (biology) from 1 pm to 2 pm, and paper 3 (mathematics) will take place from 3 pm to 4 pm. The total duration of the exam is four hours. The GUJCET 2025 exam will be conducted in Gujarati, English, and Hindi.

Candidates will have to mandatorily carry the GUJCET 2025 hall ticket. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website at gujcet.gseb.org.

Mandatory documents to carry in GUJCET 2025 exam hall

Candidates must carry their GUJCET admit card 2025 along with at least one identity card issued by the government. Valid list of documents include – Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, PwD certification (if applicable), or any other valid National ID proof. Additionally, candidates can also be required to bring passport-sized photographs that match the one uploaded on the application form.

Important Do’s and Don’ts on GUJCET 2025 exam day

– Reach the exam center well before the reporting time.

– Carry the GUJCET admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

– Do not bring electronic devices such as phones, calculators, or smartwatches.

– Only carry the required stationery (pen, pencil, eraser).

– Keep personal belongings in the designated area.

– Follow all instructions given by the exam invigilators.

– Carefully fill in the OMR sheet to avoid errors.

– Maintain silence and refrain from any form of malpractice.

– Leave the exam hall only after the exam ends.

– Do not bring books, notes, printed material, or any reference material into the exam hall.

– Food and beverages such as tea, coffee, or cold drinks are not allowed.

– Do not take the GUJCET answer sheet outside the exam hall.

– Follow the instructions of the supervisor and invigilators at all times.

GUJCET 2025 Exam: Marking Scheme

The GUJCET 2025 exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Each correct answer is awarded one mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no penalty for unattempted questions. If a question is found to be incorrect or dropped from the paper, all candidates will receive full marks for that question, whether they attempted it or not.

The GUJCET 2025 merit list will be compiled based on 60% weightage from Class 12 board exam scores and 40% weightage from the GUJCET exam results.
