
Gujarat Board Result 2023, GSEB 12th Science and GUJCET Result Updates: Gujarat Education mMinister Kuber Dindor and minister of state for education Praful Pansheriya today released the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) results for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2023 and HSC (Class 12) board exams 2023. Candidates can now check their result at the official websites — gseb.org.
Those students who clear the GUJCET 2023 will be eligible for admission in colleges and universities, as per the merit list which will be released later.
Meanwhile, the GSEB HSC results will be declared at 9 am on May 2. Students will have to key in their registration number or roll number, email id and his/ her name to check their score in Class 12 board exams. This time, the GSEB reported a record high registrations for Class 12 exams, i.e. nearly 5.91 lakh students.

Gujarat board today declared the Science stream results for HSC board exams 2023. The board recorded an overall pass percentage on 65.58 per cent which is a steep fall from last year's pass percentage of 72.07%

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on April 15 released the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2023 answer key. This was provisional answer key and candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any before April 18.

In 2022, GSEB recorded an overall pass percentage of 72.02 per cent which was marginally higher than 71.34 per cent recorded in 2019-20 and 71.90 per cent in 2018-19

The provisional merit list will be released on June 1 as well as the revised final list of institutes and seat matrix. Candidates can fill their choices for mock round from June 1 to 5. This year, GUJCET was conducted in 34 locations-- 33 districts and Ahmedabad city. The exam was held in three languages-- English, Hindi and Gujarati. GUJCET is conducted for admissions to degree engineering courses and degree and diploma pharmacy courses in the government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed institutes of the state.
Once the results are declared, candidates will be able to register for admission and pay the fees from May 2 to 22. The provisional merit, revised final list of the institutes and seat matrix will be released on June 1. The final merit list will be declared on June 9. GUJCET 2023 was conducted for four subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Physics and Chemistry each had 80 questions for a duration of 120. Each question was for one mark. The papers for Mathematics and Biology were conducted separately with 40 questions in each subject held for a duration of 60 minutes.
This year around 5.91 lakh students had registered for the HSC exams which was a five year high. The exams were conducted from March 14 to March 25. A total of 56 prison inmates also appeared for the exam.
