
The University of Delhi’s Janki Devi Memorial College has entered into collaborations with multiple institutions in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The DU college has agreed academic collaborations with Samarkand State Institute of Economics and Service and Oriental University. Through this, the Janki Devi Memorial College seeks to create an enriching educational environment that promotes cross-cultural understanding and empowers students for global success in an interconnected world.
Prof. Swati Pal, Principal of Janki Devi Memorial College, Delhi, formalised the agreements with Dr. Aslanova Dilbar Hasanovna, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, and Prof (Dr.) Murodjon Akhmedov, Rector, Oriental University, on January 8, 2024.

The agreements are designed to facilitate the exchange of information and academic materials of mutual interest. Furthermore, this collaboration will promote the exchange of faculty members, administrative and research staff, visiting scholars, and students, among others, Janki Devi Memorial College statement said.
As the institute continues to expand its horizons, these collaborations are poised to bring about meaningful exchanges, contributing to the holistic development of students, and enhancing the institute’s standing on the global stage, the DU College statement said.
