Delhi University selects 140 students for Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme

The 140 intern were shortlisted from a total of 1,542 eligible students in the group discussion round.

DU Summer Internship: The University of Delhi (DU) has selected a total of 140 students for the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) for the academic session 2024-2025. The internship will start in June and will continue till July. Each selected intern will receive a stipend of  Rs 10,500.

The internship is for a flexible 20 hours per week. Students who complete the internship will get a certificate from the Dean of student’s welfare at the end of the internship tenure.

The office of Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) shortlisted the interns for the Vice Chancellor internship after shortlisting the application and conducting a group discussion (GD) for three days from May 13 to 15. The applicants securing a SGPA of 8.18 or above in the last semester exam were shortlisted to appear for the group discussion.

A total of 1,542 students were selected for GD.

The VC internship scheme was started in the academic year 2022-2023 to provide Delhi University UG and PG students with the opportunity to refine their skills through the internship in university.
