Central University of Tamil Nadu begins admission through CUET UG

Candidates interested in applying for CUTN programmes must register on the online admission portal available on the CUTN website -- cutncuet.samarth.edu.in.

The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has commenced the admission process for various integrated postgraduate and undergraduate programmes based on the scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024.

Candidates interested in applying for CUTN programmes must register on the online admission portal available on the CUTN website — cutncuet.samarth.edu.in. The registration portal is open till August 12.

Documents required for online registration:

Candidates should have scanned copies of the following documents ready for upload:

1. Passport-size digital photograph

2. Secondary School (Class 10) mark sheet

3. Senior Secondary School/PUC-II/Higher Secondary School mark sheet or equivalent

4. School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate/College Leaving Certificate (if applicable)

5. Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) or EWS Certificate (if applicable, issued by a competent authority in GOI format)

6. PWD/PH Certificate (if applicable, issued by a competent authority in GOI format)

7. Certificate for Kashmiri Migrant/Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) for the Kashmiri Migrant quota (if applicable, issued by a competent authority in GOI format)

8. Certificate(s) as proof for the Ward of Defence Category (if applicable)

9. Handwritten undertaking for non-submission of any required certificates/documents

Registration fee for general, OBC (NCL), EWS category is Rs 250. It is Rs 150 for SC/ST category, and candidates from the PwD and transgender categories do not have to pay any registration fee.

Only those candidates who register through the online admission portal will be considered for admission. CUTN will not be responsible for any network delays or disruptions, the institute stated in an official notice.

Candidates must ensure that the information provided in the online application form matches their CUET UG scorecard. Discrepancies may result in disqualification. Additionally, candidates who fail to upload the required certificates/documents must provide a handwritten undertaking on plain paper.
