CBSE announced the results on May 13. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 stood at 87.98 per cent, while Class 10 achieved a pass rate of 93.60 per cent.
CBSE on May 2 had confirmed that the result date was not finalised till that day and that no official announcement has been issued so far.
Around 42 lakh students appeared for the 2024-25 CBSE board exams. According to CBSE, a total of 24.12 lakh Class 10 students appeared for exams in 84 subjects, while over 17.88 lakh students appeared for Class 12 exams across 120 subjects this year.
CBSE held the Class 10 secondary and Class 12 senior secondary 2025 board exams from February 15 to April 4. While exams for both classes started on the same day - February 15, the CBSE secondary school Class 10 examinations continued till March 18 and CBSE Class 12 senior school exam continued till April 4, 2025.
Students can also check their CBSE results 2025 through several official platforms including cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and the UMANG app. They will need to insert their roll number, date of birth, and admit card ID to view and download their CBSE Class 10 or CBSE Class 12 results
