CAT registration 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has extended the date for the registration of the Common Admission Test 2024. Now, the registration will be closed on September 20. Interested students have the last chance to register and fill out the application form from the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
The registration for the CAT was to be completed on September 13. The extension of the registration deadline was done last year also. In 2023, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow was holding the examination which was also extended till September 20.
Step 1 – Visit the official website – iimcat.ac.in
Step 2 – On the homepage, select the new registration button.
Step 3 – Enter the following essential credentials to register — date of birth, name, email id, phone number and country
Step 4 – Validate your registration with OTP
Step 5 – Now, re- log in using the same credentials received in the email
Step 6 – Fill in the application form with the necessary personal, academic, and work experience details
Step 7 – Upload the document like – passport size photo, signature, and category certificate (if required) in required sizes
Step 8 – Select your preferred IIM, course offered, interview city, and exam city
Step 9 – Finish the application with online fee payment
Step 10 — Save and download the application form and fee payment status for further reference.
CAT 2024 candidates are requested to register using the email id and contact number active throughout the admission process. The authority will contact and communicate with the applicant through the registered contact details.
The Test is conducted for admission to postgraduate and fellowship or doctorate level business courses offered by Indian Institutes of Management across the country (IIMs). Several non-IIM institutes also use the CAT in their admission processes.
