BPSC to hold CCE 70th prelims re-exam on January 4 for Patna’s centre

BPSC CCE Prelims 2024 Rescheduled Exam Date: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the re-examination for candidates who appeared at the cancelled exam centre in Patna during the Integrated 70th Combined Competitive Examination (Prelims) will take place on January 4, 2025.

This decision comes after a full-bench meeting held on December 19, 2024, to address the cancellation of the preliminary examination conducted at the Bapu Examination Complex on December 13, 2024. The cancellation was attributed to unforeseen issues during the examination process.

The Commission, prioritising the interests of the affected candidates, resolved to conduct the re-examination at the earliest possible date. More details regarding the re-examination schedule, including timings and centre arrangements, will be made available on the official BPSC website soon, BPSC said.

On December 13, BPSC conducted the prelims exam of the 70th Integrated CCE 2024. The exam was held at 912 centres, of which BPSC claims that the exam was conducted without any issues at 911 centres, and problems were noticed only at one centre — Patna’s Bapu Pariksha Bhavan.
