BITS Pilani has been awarded the coveted A++ grade with a score of 3.68 out of 4 in the latest circular of NAAC accreditation. This will place it among the top 4 per cent of NAAC-accredited universities in the country.
The process for assessment by the NAAC is based on seven criteria: Curricular Aspects Teaching, Learning, and Evaluation, Research, Innovation, and Extensions, Infrastructure and Learning Resources, Student Support and Progression, Governance, Leadership, and Management, Institutional Values & Best Practices for evaluation.
BITS Pilani scored a 100 per cent in Criterion 1-Curricular Aspects for its innovative curriculum and its significant learner-centric approach, the institute claimed. Enhanced research output, progressive research policies, and impactful faculty contributions also played a pivotal role in this recognition.
