BSEB Bihar Board 10th Result 2024 (OUT): The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna, chairman Anand Kishore declared the Bihar Board Class 10 result. Students can check their BSEB matric exam results at the official websites – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and bsebmatric.org. A total of 16,94,781 students appeared Matric exam 2024 including 8,22,587 boys and 8,72,194 girls.
The overall pass percentage this year has rose from 81.04 per cent last year to 82.91 per cent this year. Students must score a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject to pass in BSEB 10th result 2024.
Six students from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya Jamui are in the top 10.
This year, the first division has been bagged by 4,52,302 students of which boys are 2,52,846 and girls are 1,99,456. Similarly, the second division is bagged by 5,24,965 of which 2,52,121 are boys and 2,72,844 are girls. A total of 3,80,732 students have got third division of which 1,66,093 are boys and 2,14,639 girls. About 21,843 are in the pass category.
Meanwhile, Shivankar Kumar of of Zilla School in Purnea district has topped the Bihar Board exam with 489 marks (97.80 per cent). The rank 2 is bagged by Adarsh Kumar of Samastipur with 488 marks. Four students have jointly shared the rank 3 with 486 marks. They are Aditya Kumar, Suman Kumar Purve, Palak Kumari and Sajiya Perween.
Over 16 lakh students of BSEB Class 10 appeared for the Matric exams this year. In addition to thebiharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and bsebmatric.org websites, students will be able to view their BSEB Class 10 results at education.indianexpress.com as well. The board will later send the BSEB Class 10 marksheets to the respective schools, from where the students can collect their physical scorecards.
The BSEB Class 10 scrutiny application link and compartment exam application link will open on April 3 and continue till April 9. The BSEB compartment exam results will be announced by May 31. The details of the compartment exam dates will be announced later, BSEB said.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar congratulated all successful students for their results. As per a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), “In his congratulatory message for the students, the CM has wished them a bright future. The CM also appreciated BSEB officials for declaring class 10 results in a very short span of time.” He also expressed his happiness over the performance of girl students and said this would instill self-confidence among them, it added.
A total of 16,10,657 students (81.04 per cent) passed the Bihar Board matric exam last year, out of which 6,61,570 are boys and 6,43,633 are girls. The overall pass percentage of Class 10 students in 2022 was 79.88 per cent.
Bihar Board released the Class 10 answer key 2024 on March 11 on the official website. Students were able to raise objections against the answer key by March 14. Bihar board Class 10 results will be announced based on the final answer key. BSEB matric exams 2024 were held from February 14 to February 23 in two shifts – the morning and afternoon shifts. The first shift was held from 9 am and the second shift from 1:45 pm.
