Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (BCECEB) has announced the results of Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE). This state level entrance exam was held on 17th April and 15th May 2016.
The Stage I exam had four sections – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The exam was for 150 marks with 50 marks for each section.
The Board was established under the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act, 1995. The Board scheduled entrance examinations on an annual basis for admission to professional programmes across academic institutions in the state in the medical, engineering and agriculture streams.
The members of the Board are eminent position holders of the government of Bihar. The Chairman of the Board is from the Board of Revenue, Bihar, Patna. The Member Secretary is the Director, Indegenus Medical Education (Ayurveda), Bihar, Patna. The Special Invited Members include Principal Secretary, Science and Technology Department, Bihar Patna, Controller of Examination, Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Patna, Dr. R.P. singh, Advisor, Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Patna and Examination Controller, Health Department, Bihar Patna.
The other Members of the Board comprise of Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, Bihar, Patna, Principal Secretary, Health Department, Bihar, Patna, Director, Fishries Department, Bihar, Patna, Director, Science and Technology Department, Bihar, Patna,Principal, Darbhanga Medical College, Darbhanga, Principal, Muzaffarpur Technical Institute,Muzaffarpur and Principal, Agriculture Science College, Pusa, Samastipur.
