The State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha has announced the results of lecturer recruitment exam. The candidates can to check the result on the official website – ssbodisha.nic.in. The written examination was conducted in April for the recruitment of candidates for lecturer posts.

Earlier, the SSB has released a notification to fill 1625 vacancies in the following subjects: Anthropology, Bio-Technology, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Geography, Geology, Hindi, History, Home Science, IRPM, Law, Logic & Philosophy, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Telugu

The selection of lecturers was be based on written test, educational career and viva–voce test.

Log on to the official website, http://www.ssbodisha.nic.in
On the homepage, click on ‘Results’ section

Then click on the subject you applied for
The list of the selected candidates with their roll numbers will appear on the screen
Download the same and take a printout for further reference.

The State Selection Board of Odisha, falling under the purview of the Department of Higher Education, was established in 1975 by the Odisha Government. It Board was established as a statutory body under the Education & Youth Services Department for conducting recruitment examinations for teaching and non teaching posts in the state, as well as direct payment posts.

It recruits staff for the government and government aided schools in the state as per the Odisha Education Act, 1969. It was declared to be a permanent body by the state government in 1987. It is headquartered at Bhubaneswar.
