SBI PO result 2016: Thousands of candidates have applied for 2,260 posts of probationary officers

SBI PO prelims result 2016: State Bank of India (SBI) has released the result of preliminary examination conducted for the recruitment of of Probationary Officers (PO) on July 18. The exam was conducted on July 2, 3, 9, 10, 2016.

The candidates can check the result on the bank’s official site. As per the official notification, SBI will conduct the online main exam on July 31, result of which will be declared on August 16.

The application process for the SBI PO vacancy had started on May 4, 2016 and ended on May 24, 2016. The admit cards for the SBI PO preliminary examination were released on June 14, 2016.

The candidates who clear the preliminary round will be shortlisted for the mains examination. Successful candidates of the mains exam will then be called for the interview round and only after clearing all the three rounds will the post be awarded to the candidates.

The SBI has also released recruitment notifications for the post of Officers in Specialized Positions on its official website. State Bank of India conducts these examinations on an annual basis to fill vacancies at its banks across the country.

The bank has earlier released a notification PO (CRPD/PO/2016-17/02) to recruit eligible candidates for 2,260 posts of probationary officers.
