The Delhi University has released the results of some of the post graduate (PG) entrance examinations for admissions to the varsity's PG programmes for 2016-17. Results for PG programmes of English, Sanskrit, History, Political Science and Social Work departments, among others, have been released. More results are expected to follow in the coming days. According to Satish Kumar, Deputy Dean, North Campus, the results have been released by the respective departments on the official website of the university. He further informs that barring the Chemistry and the Physics Departments, nearly all results have been declared. "The role of the examination department is to forward the list to the concerned department, which then decides on the cut-offs, prepares the merit list and releases the result," he said. According to Kumar, the results of the Ph.D entrance examinations are going to be released on July 10. "All results are ready. There is no result pending with the examination department," he said. The results of the third year final examinations of undergraduate courses will most likely be declared by Saturday or Sunday, he added.
