Delhi Confidential: Mail makeover

The post office may be increasingly falling out of favour, but not for the residents of Delhi’s Tughlakabad village. They are learnt to have made representations for an upgrade to their local post office to South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, who hails from the heritage village. Bidhuri, who took up the matter with Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, has been informed that the legacy post office will soon be replaced by a modern one.

Reshuffle Buzz

A much-awaited cabinet reshuffle may take place after the Bihar Assembly election result on November 14 and before the Winter Session of Parliament begins the same month. However, sources say that it will depend on the election result. Some newly sworn-in Rajya Sabha members are tipped to get a berth if a reshuffle or expansion were to take place.
