Matters pertaining to the transfers and posting of government employees in Himachal Pradesh will now be dealt with in the last four working days of the month only, an official spokesperson Thursday said.
The move will ensure effective consideration by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and aims to streamline the decision-making process and bring about timely resolutions.
The approved orders of postings and transfers will also be issued by the departments concerned in the last four working days of the month which implies that such matters will not be taken up during the remaining days of the month unless there are exceptional circumstances, the spokesperson added.
These instructions would also be applicable to all boards/corporations of the state government and be strictly complied with, the spokesman said, adding that any violation of the instructions would result in disciplinary action.
