The final list of candidates for Zilla Parishad election was declared on Monday. However,the pending matter of one candidate will be heard on Tuesday and the decision will be declared on February 1.Assistant returning officer of Haveli,Appasaheb Saminder,told The Indian Express that according to the rules,any decision which is held up for appeal will be declared on February 1. He said in this case,objections on the candidature of Balsaheb Mokashe from Uttamnagar Kondwe arose as he was reportedly a gram panchayat member.
Meanwhile,Sheetal Bandu Khandwe,Mangal Jagtap from Lohegaon Dehu and Dattarey Kamthe from Phursungi,who had applied for caste validity certificates,lost their case.
