Woman among 3 booked for IPL cricket match betting
The three accused were booked under sections of the Maharashtra Gambling Act.

Pimpri Chinchwad police arrested two persons including a woman for allegedly taking bets on an IPL cricket match through an online application.
Police Havaldar Ganesh Medge of the crime branch lodged the first information report (FIR) in this case at the Pimpri police station on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a hotel and bar on the Kate Pimple Road in Pimpri around 11.50 pm on Thursday.
Police nabbed a businessman Om Harish Mulchandani (26) Waghere Park in Pimpri and a woman (39) from Queen Town Society in Chinchwad. They were allegedly taking bets on an IPL cricket match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Supergiants through an online application. Their accomplice Naru Tolani is on the run, police said.
The three accused were booked under sections of the Maharashtra Gambling Act. Police sub inspector Sachin Deshmukh said the accused woman runs a snacks centre while Mulchandani is a garments businessman.
