The last time they worked together,the film ended up as a blockbuster and a trendsetter. Now,Aamir Khan and Jackie Shroff are back on screen in the same film,17 years after Rangeelas release. Aditya Chopra has reportedly signed Jackie Shroff for a role in Dhoom 3. Cast in a pivotal role in the third installment of the popular franchise,Shroff will be shooting for 10 days. His character,however,is being kept strictly under wraps. Khan,who has come a long way since Rangeela,is still friends with Shroff and is helping his son Tiger gain a foothold in Bollywood. It is,therefore,possible that Khan suggested Shroff for the role. Now it remains to be seen if the two actors can repeat history with Dhoom 3.

Wedding Woes

It is his first romantic comedy and Farhan Akhtar is understandably excited. Shaadi Ke Side Effects,a sequel to Pritish Nandy Communications Pyaar Ke Side Effects,will see the actor play husband to Vidya Balan. While he essays the role of a Mumbai boy,Balans character is that of a Delhi girl. Being directed by debutant Saket Choudhary,the film will see the couple tackle challenges and changes to life and lifestyle that marriage throws up. Our only reservation is that the films premise sounds similar to that of Rajkumar Guptas comedy film Ghanchakkar,which also has Balan playing wife,albeit middle-class and aspirational,to Emraan Hashmi.
