At a time when the industry is feeling low and rumours are rife about YRF downsizing their music label division,Vikram Bhatt’s ASA Music is poised to release the music of seven films over the next year. Vikram believes that there are huge opportunities in the music business today,which are being ignored by the existing record labels,provided one aligns himself to new ideas and adapts to new technology. Not only will ASA Music promote the soundtracks of movies under the ASA Films banner but will also look at acquiring soundtracks from other producers. The label has already recorded and readied for release a host of Hindustani Classical albums with big names such as Pt Bhimsen Joshi,Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia and Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. A bunch of young pop talent has been identified by ASA Music too and will be selectively launched and aggressively promoted in the near future.

Rachna essays the role of Kunti Kumar,a 21-year-old Bollywood diva.
