VBA also declared support to Supriya Sule of NCP (SP) for the Baramati seat in the fight against Sunetra Pawar of the Ajit Pawar led NCP.

More will now be the official VBA candidate for the Pune seat, which is likely to lead to a division of votes, hampering the chances of both BJP and Congress. However, he led the MNS in PMC and was also the city’s MNS chief in the past.

VBA declared its support to Sule in Baramati to avoid a division of votes in the close contest.
