Urdu play on Mirza Galib staged in city

The Muslim Welfare Education Society organised an Urdu play,Mirza Galib ki haveli at Balgandharva Rangmandir on Wednesday.

Mayor Mohansingh Rajpal was invited for viewing the play. “Urdu plays should be staged reqularly in the city. THis will help in exchange of culture of Hindi,Marathi and Urdu theatre industry,” he said.

The play is based on true anecdotes in the life of the renowned poet. It was produced by Mumbai Ideal Drama and Entertainment academy,said a release. Rajpal felicitated all the artistes involved in the play.
