‘Unholy alliance’: Two BJP leaders pour scorn on Ajit-led NCP

Another BJP leader, Dilip Deshmukh, on Saturday said BJP and Shiv Sena were real brothers while NCP was a step brother. “Because of NCP workers, BJP workers have suffered a lot,” he said, while alleging that Ajit Pawar discriminates while giving development funds.

Deshmukh said, “In Maharashtra, there is a three party government. First party is BJP, second is Shiv Sena and the third is NCP. Actually, we didn’t want NCP because BJP and Shiv Sena are really brothers. There are no two opinions about this. NCP is BJP’s step brother. I don’t why they have been roped in. We had opposed them then and even oppose them now.”

In response, Ajit Pawar, while speaking to reporters in Nagpur, said, “Our party workers can also give a befitting reply. I had a discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Devendra Fadnavis… If they keep talking like this, our party workers can also respond. I don’t attach much importance to such views. I keep doing my work.”

Two days ago, state health minister Tanaji Sawant, who belongs to Shiv Sena, said he vomits after he sits with NCP ministers in cabinet meetings.
