PUNE: Two persons were killed when a container collided with a minibus near Shirur on Saturday on Pune-Nagar highway. The mishap took place when some artists were returning to Pune in the minibus after performing at a cultural programme at Karanje village. Police have identified the deceased as Shrikant Mukund Gokhale (45) of Paud Road and Maya Shashikant Nanse (29),whoo was from Virar in Mumbai,but was currently staying in Pune. Police said the minibus hit the container which was standing at the Belwandi Phata at 5.30 am. The left portion of the minibus was damaged.
