City-based organisation ‘Sa Va Ni’ is all set to pay yearly homage to tabla exponent Ustad Alla Rakha. The ‘Ustad Alla Rakha Jayanti Sangeet Samaroh’ will pay him tribute on his 92nd birth anniversary,on Sunday,April 29,starting 6:00pm at Mahalaxmi Lawns,Rajaram Bridge,Karvenagar. The performers for the evening will include Naveen Sharma (dholak solo),Ustad Rashid Khan (vocals),Pandit Vijay Ghate (tabla accompaniment),Pandit Anindo Chatterjee,Anubrata Chatterjee (tabla solo),Mukund Petkar and Tanmay Devchake (harmonium accompaniment).
